By accessing DocuStitch, you are entering into a binding legal agreement. These terms govern your use of our local-first WebAssembly document suite.
1. Description of Service
DocuStitch provides a browser-based utility for merging, splitting, and optimizing PDF and image files. Unlike traditional cloud services, our "Service" consists of providing code that executes on your hardware. We do not provide document storage, hosting, or remote transmission.
2. User Content & Grant of Rights
You retain 100% ownership of your documents. Because the processing is 100% local:
- You grant us zero rights to your document content.
- You are responsible for ensuring your files do not violate any laws or third-party copyrights.
- You acknowledge that clearing your browser cache or closing the tab will terminate the processing session immediately.
3. Critical Disclaimer: Portal Verification
Users processing documents for high-stakes applications (e.g., Visa Portals, Mortgage Applications, Legal Filings) must manually verify that the final output meets the specific file-size and formatting requirements of the destination portal.DocuStitch is a utility tool and does not guarantee acceptance by any third-party institution.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuStitch and its operators shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from:
- Loss of data due to browser crashes, memory overflow, or power failures.
- Missed deadlines or rejected applications at government or financial portals.
- Incompatibility with specific enterprise PDF viewers or proprietary software.
5. Prohibited Use Cases
Forbidden Activities:
- Reverse-engineering the WebAssembly binary logic.
- Automated scraping or bot-driven traffic to our endpoints.
- Using scripts to hide, modify, or bypass ad placements.
- Redistributing our compiled logic as a separate paid service.
6. Intellectual Property
The custom WebAssembly logic, user interface design, and "DocuStitch" brand are the exclusive intellectual property of DocuStitch Software Systems. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tool for personal or commercial document manipulation via our official domain.
