Terms of service

Terms for using DocuStitch.

These terms explain what the service provides, what you remain responsible for, and the limits of browser-local document processing.

Service description

DocuStitch provides browser-based PDF tools. For supported workflows, the service delivers code that runs in your browser session rather than uploading your document to a remote processing queue.

Your documents

You retain ownership of your files and outputs. You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to process, modify, download, and share any document you use with the tools.

No recovery promise

Because supported local workflows do not store your documents for you, we cannot recover files if your browser crashes, the tab closes, or a downloaded output is deleted.

Professional responsibility

If you use DocuStitch for legal filings, healthcare records, immigration packets, financial documents, or other high-stakes work, you must manually verify the output before submitting it.

  • Check page order, file size, readability, and formatting.
  • Confirm redactions and metadata handling where relevant.
  • Verify destination portal rules before upload or filing.

Prohibited uses

  • Abusing, scraping, overloading, or attacking the service.
  • Redistributing DocuStitch code or branding as your own service.
  • Bypassing ad, consent, rate-limit, or security controls.
  • Using the tools for unlawful document activity.

Limitation of liability

The tools are provided as utilities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocuStitch is not liable for rejected filings, missed deadlines, browser failures, incompatible PDFs, data loss on your device, or misuse of outputs.
