At DocuStitch, we believe your documents are your business. Our architecture is designed so that your sensitive data never leaves your computer.

1. Technical "Zero-Knowledge" Architecture

Unlike traditional online PDF tools, DocuStitch does not use a server-side processing model. We utilize WebAssembly (WASM) and client-side JavaScript to perform all document merging, splitting, and editing directly in your browser's RAM.

  • No Uploads: Your files are never transmitted to our servers.
  • No Storage: We do not own or operate databases that store your document content.
  • Local Memory: Data is cleared as soon as you close the browser tab.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

We use Google AdSense to sustain our free service. To comply with Google's transparency requirements, please be aware of the following:

  • Third-Party Cookies: Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
  • Personalized Advertising: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use minimal tracking technologies:

  • First-Party Local Storage: Used strictly to save your theme (Dark/Light) preferences.

While we do not sell your document data (as we never have access to it), our use of third-party advertising cookies may be considered "sharing." 5. GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we act as a Data Controller for minimal site-usage data and a Data Processor (technically limited by WASM) for documents. Our legal basis for showing ads is Consent, which you provide via our IAB-compliant consent mechanism.
