At DocuStitch, we believe your documents are your private property. Our architecture is engineered so that your sensitive data never leaves your device. We utilize WebAssembly (WASM) to ensure a 100% Zero-Knowledge environment.
No Data Persistence
We never see, store, or transmit your PDF content.

Processing happens in an isolated browser sandbox.

Memory is purged instantly after file download.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike traditional PDF editors, DocuStitch runs entirely on the client-side. We do not maintain servers that process your files. Consequently, we do not collect:
- The content, text, or images within your PDF files.
- Document metadata (author, creation dates, or filenames).
- Biometric data or identifiable information from your documents.
2. Technical Information & Analytics
To optimize performance and troubleshoot WASM compatibility issues, we collect anonymized data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4):
- Usage Metrics: Interaction with tool buttons, conversion rates, and session duration.
- Device Context: Browser version, OS, and hardware capabilities (to optimize WASM threads).
- Anonymized IP: We utilize IP anonymization so your full IP address is never stored.
3. Advertising & Cookies (AdSense Compliance)
This site uses Google AdSense to serve ads. This is required to keep our tools free for the public.
Mandatory Advertising Disclosures
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit history.
- You may opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
4. Global Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)
EEA Users (GDPR): DocuStitch acts as a tool provider. Since your files stay on your machine, you remain the sole Data Controller. We do not "Process" Personal Data as defined by GDPR beyond anonymized site telemetry.
California Users (CCPA): We do not sell your personal information. We do not have document data to sell. You can manage your tracking preferences through our cookie consent banner.
5. Technology Sandbox
All document manipulation is performed using W3C WebAssembly Standards. This creates a secure sandbox inside your browser that cannot access your local file system without your explicit permission (via the file picker).
